Booking

You may book an accommodation filling out the Booking Inquiry Form for the room you desire.

All bookings are secured by a downpayment.

Reservations will be considered valid only after you have received my confirmation email. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately at [email protected], if you have any questions or require any changes.

Downpayment

An advance payment of 30% of the total cost of your accommodation must be paid in advance. We accept VISA or MasterCard or Pay Pal as payment. Transaction charges are to be borne by the ordering customer.

The remaining 70% of your total room cost must be paid in cash or with credit card upon arrival. Roma Slow Home accepts cash and credit card (Visa, Master Card and American Express). Traveler’s checks are not accepted.

Full payment is required for Holiday Packages or other special offers. Packages or special offers bookings will only be accepted via the website, and they are not transferable. No refunds apply to Packages or special offers reservations.

Confirmation

Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you confirmation of your booking with the complete booking details. The Confirmation email will also include important information that we urge you to read to ensure your travel to Rome is issue free.

It is very important that you communicate your arrival time.

Cancellation

Securing your reservation with your deposit means you accept the terms and conditions of our Cancellation Policy.

Any request for modification or cancellation must be received in writing by e-mail at [email protected]

  • Cancellations made more than 21 days from check-in date will receive the total refund of the deposit paid or the option of a credit, which is valid for one year from cancellation date;
  • Cancellations made between 21 and 15 days from check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit paid or the option of a credit, which is valid for one year from the cancellation date;
  • Cancellations made less than 14 - 0 days from the check-in date will forfeit the deposit paid.

Roma Slow Home reserves the right to cancel reservations with declined credit cards.

If, for any reason, your accommodation is not available after we have confirmed it, we will offer you an equivalent alternative. If you decide not to accept it, we will reimburse the full deposit.

All refunds are payable by PayPal and are subject to PayPal fees. We do not issue refunds by bank transfer at this time.

We do not issue refunds or credits for flight cancellations, due to any circumstances. For this reason, we recommend that our guests purchase Travel Insurance, which is generally inexpensive, but can really save a lot of emotional distress.Travel Insurance may pay for unforeseen events that might happen during your stay, it may cover Medical expenses, Evacuation expenses, Holiday cancellation costs and so on.

There are no refunds or credits issued for early checkouts.

There are no refunds or credits issued for Holiday Packages or special offers reservations.

Any changes to your reservation must be received no less than 21 days prior to your original arrival date via email, and changes are subject to availability. If there is no availability, you will receive the total refund of the deposit paid or the option of a credit, which is valid for one year from cancellation date. There are no refunds or credits issued for reservation changes within 21 days of the arrival date that reduce the number of nights stayed.

All credits issued are valid for one year from the original cancellation date. A credit can only be used for Guest House Roma Slow Home reservations. A credit can be transferred to another person provided we have written authorization from you.

Complaints

If you have any concerns about your accommodation after your arrival we will be pleased to discuss them with you during your stay. However, NO reimbursements will be made based on complaints or comments received after your stay in the accommodation has been completed. We also hope you will take a few minutes to complete the Evaluation Form online.

Changes in rates

Any changes in rates or terms of payment due to special offers or special periods during the year (such as holidays) will be clearly noted on our website as well as on your reservation form.

Privacy

All personal data will be used confidentially and in accordance with Italian Law n. 675/96 regarding Privacy. The information submitted will not be published nor shared with any third parties.

Property Policy

Check-in time is 2.00 p.m. If you arrive before this time you are more than welcome to drop your bags off at reception. Late check-in is available , and you’ll not incur a surcharge. Check-in is by arrangement only.

No check-ins available without valid photo ID (Passport or Identity Card) and valid credit card for any incidentals.

Check-out time is 11.00 a.m.
